About the Center
St. Teresa of Calcutta Child Care Center's mission is to provide an enriching, developmentally appropriate environment for children that allows them to grow and learn each day.
We know that each child is special, unique, and holds the future in their hands. Our quality child care program nurtures individual needs and abilities of infants all the way through school-aged children. We believe that children thrive when they are met with meaningful, developmentally appropriate challenges to stimulate their intellectual growth and development.
The center is open 12 months of the year and remains open most days the school is closed for breaks or professional development. We care for children 6 weeks old all the way up to 12 years of age.

St. Teresa of Calcutta Child Care Center is a licensed childcare center through the Iowa Department of Human Services (DHS).
We are inspected every year. We are required to follow the Iowa DHS licensing policies and procedures while in operation. The DHS licensing manual is available upon your request for your reference in the Director's office.

Our family loves St. Teresa Child care! As first time parents the childcare center has exceeded our expectations no doubt. The staff is so loving and they are great teachers! Our little guy loves going every morning, which makes us feel so good. He is learning new things every day. I personally love that they do so many hands on activates with the kids. The communication from the staff has also been great! Overall we couldn’t imagine taking our little one anywhere else!
I've been bringing my little one to St. Teresa of Calcutta Child Care Center for over a year now and not once have I questioned the care she has been receiving. I feel reassured knowing that she is at a place that takes care of her day-to-day physical and emotional needs. I LOVE that St. Teresa utilizes an app to document her meals & changes, send newsletters, and even upload photos of what she is currently doing sometimes! I have never felt the need to look elsewhere for child care because St. Teresa's has it all - especially caring staff.
